Progressive Dog Obedience

My aim is to Inspire, Motivate and Encourage in the art of fulfilling the Leading/Guiding role in any dog’s life - that helps the Owner Improve, Progress and Achieve good well-balanced control and obedience with their dog  -  and for the dog to feel confident knowing that his/her Owner can take good charge of the social family unit appropriately  .............

With NO treats, toys or clickers required - Why should these be considered necessary?  .... (perhaps because it is sadly not regarded as 'Politically Correct'  to dare interact with our dogs empty handed)? !!

Do dogs NATURALLY  require or exchange 'gifts'  in order to accomplish or achieve their objectives?   Surely, YOU are the most important part of your dog's life, so why try and convince him/her that something else is instead??? Surprised

Plus we incorporate behavioural  focus and 'dog good manners' work in the Class too! -  We go that extra mile to help Owner and dog Smile   We do not just skate on the surface of training, but plunge for a better understanding and commitment to learning their way with us.  Creating a special bond of understanding and interaction.

"This is more than a ‘business’ to me, as my clients will support. It is a committed ‘passion’ for the very way of the dog, that I feel privileged to share, and which the Club is focused upon."
- Chris

If you want more from your training together - then look no further!  Learning the dogs’ way of thinking can be challenging, but far more productive and enjoyable for you bothGive your dog an evening out to enjoy using his/her mind to interact with you.  Smile

Whether this is your 'first-time' or just plain 'rusty'! - You and your dog will NOT be bored.  (Neither is it the "same stuff week after week")!!

Develop yourself as a good reliable, guiding, and responsible leading member of your dog's human social family

Thinking dog - and being a beneficial role model that your dog needs!  By doing so, developing understanding trust and respect between you.  What a combination!

Respect is special within the relationship.  Both you and your dog respecting each other.  But far better that you earn that respect, rather than try to buy it  from your dog - your dog can tell the difference!

Training without food, treats, toys or clickers. Dogs don’t use them, so we don’t.  If a dog’s motivation to respond is based on something tasty or a toy, then what is more important, you or the treat? ..... And if someone else has a more tasty treat, who might your dog prefer to respond to???

We are politely proud and confident to be unrivaled in dog training that does NOT teach dogs to just Perform, but teaches Owners to Connect.  Training with a dog’s Brain - NOT a Sausage!   Respect is highly valued by dogs - better to earn a dog's respect - than to try and buy it.

Do you really want a dog to merely Respond/Perform for a treat or toy?  Or your dog to be more aware and responsive within their family unit?   The dog's 'family social unit'  works and supports together, with supervising leadership.

Paws for Thought

If Owners have a passion and enjoyment of the dog, then would this be best demonstrated in a commitment to understand their way of thinking and communicating, and looking to emulate that to the best of our ability?
